Dunn's Run


The City of Deerfield Beach is again excited to announce our partnership with the 21st Annual Dunn’s Run benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. The run/walk will take place on Sunday, October 1st at 7:30 AM at the Main Beach Parking Lot, 149 SE 21st Ave. Grab your running shoes and your family to come out for a day of exercise and fun with a 5 mile or 5K run/walk. Fun activities include a visit with Billy the Marlin and Stanley C. Panther, a bounce house, food and craft vendors and more!

Road Closure Information

PLEASE NOTE: The below is the road closure information as it relates to the Dunn's Run which will take place from 4:00am - 12:00pm.
  • Closing of SR 5 (Federal Highway) northbound from SE 10th St. to SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd)
  • Closure of SR 810 (Hillsboro Blvd.) eastbound and westbound from SR 5 (Federal Highway) to A1A
  • Closure of A1A and Ocean Way from NE 2nd St. to SE 9th St.

Hotel Accommodations

The Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort will be accommodating guests for the 21st Annual Dunn’s Run. A guest room block has been arranged from Friday, September 29th, 2017 through Monday, October 2nd, 2017.

For every room that is booked under the Dunn’s Run, $10 will go back to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County!

The following group rates have been established:

  • City View Room – 2 Queen Beds / Single or Double Occupancy: $149.00
  • City View Room – 1 King Bed / Single or Double Occupancy: $169.00
  • Ocean View Room – 2 Queen Beds / Single or Double Occupancy: $179.00
  • Ocean View Room – 1 King Bed / Single or Double Occupancy: $199.00

The above guest room types are based upon availability. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable sales taxes currently 11%.

Overnight parking charges: Valet parking is $ 19.00 per car, per day and Self-parking is $ 14.00 per car, per day.

All reservations need to be confirmed by Friday, September 15th, 2017. After this date rooms and group rates will be subject to availability.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, cancellations must be made by 4:00pm, 72-hours prior to confirmed arrival date, so not to incur a one-night charge.

Check-in time for is 4:00 pm. and check-out is 12:00 noon.
